What do I eat? What should I eat? These questions are frequently asked and depending on your goals the answers will vary massively. Some people want to lose, gain or maintain weight and some eat for enhanced athletic performance. 

Whatever your goal is, the reality is that nutrition is not about following a diet. Proper nutrition is a lifestyle, there is no quick fix or magic pill. To sustain a lifestyle with proper nutrition you need to firstly educate yourself and then make consistently good choices everyday. Don’t try to fool yourself into thinking that you can get proper nutrition without altering your lifestyle.


We don't think nutrition should become an obsession but it needs to be something you think about when making food choices. Everyone needs to let loose now and then. The key to achieving your goals is finding that happy medium. Hopefully by reading the information below you will be more equipt to making better choices.

So what should we eat?

Eat meat (fish) and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. 

This way of eating is based upon the paleo diet which 

mimic's the food groups of our pre-agricultural, hunter-gatherer ancestors. 


The diet is based upon eating meats, fish and seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, nuts and seeds, and healthy oils (olive, walnut, flaxseed, macadamia, avocado, coconut). 

Grains, dairy, potatoes, refined sugars and vegetable oils and salt are all on “the don’t-eat list” for the paleo diet.

The definition for a "drug' is a medicine or other substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body.


Eating food has the same effect. It can bring about positive or negative changes in your body. 

Our recommendation to “eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar” is adequate to the task of preventing the scourges of diet-induced disease.

Finely tuned, a good diet will increase energy, sense of well-being, and acumen, while simultaneously burning fat and packing on muscle. When properly composed, the right diet can nudge every important marker of health in the right direction. 

Waking up one day and following the recommended way of eating can be a big hit to the system. We need to find out what works best for us and that it's not just a "fad" diet that we stop once we hit a goal.


It needs to be the start of a new healthier life style that can be maintained for the rest of your life.
